During white space, our group uses the time to get advice from our teacher-in-charge, Ms Cheong, as well as planning our project so that we are on track. So far, we have constructed our clay models and finished the reflections after the workshops we have attended. Whenever we have sessions held at the computer lab, we made used of the time to work on our Infographic board and online journal.
White Space 21 May: Our group managed to finish the Infographic Board. Below is our draft for our Infographics!

Here is our finalised Infographics.

27 May: Although there is no school today, we still came to school! We printed out our infographics and pictures to paste on the infographic board. We decorated it and drew on the board. After putting finishing touches to it, we felt very accomplished and happy with the end result.

White space 28 May: We managed to finish the Chendol Food Model! We created the shape of a mountain of shaved ice and placed red beans and the green jelly by its side. We painted a bit of brown on to the shaved ice to represent gula melaka. There is a heart on top of the chendol food model to show how much we love the local food culture and we hope that such delicious food will not disappear. We made some parts of the Mee Rebus food model! We will be finishing it tomorrow!

White Space 29 May: We finished our Mee Rebus food model too! We put all of the different parts of our food models on a plate and modeled it to look as similar to the real dish as possible. We coated both food models with a layer of glue to make them look shiny and give off the realistic look.

White Space 30 May:We managed to use our new hot glue gun to add some details to our food models and infographic Board. For the chendol food model, we added a bit of glue at the bowl’s edge to make it seem as if the ice was melting, and that made our chendol food model look even more realistic. For the infographic board, we used the glue gun to add a bit of decorations on the board.

White Space 31 May: Today is the day of the assessment! We were really nervous, but we had a lot of fun looking at other groups’ and other classes’ work. They all looked so good! We put up our food models and infographic board on display and even created feedback forms for our audience to feedback to us how our presentation was, and we improved from the comments given.
